Whitney's broodmare sire Wachmann is also the broodmare sire of Herbertus Schmidt's 2004 Olympic Dressage mare Wansuela Suerte (by Warkant). One of the all time leading performance sires, Ferdinand, appears in both Whitney's sireline and that of her dam.
