Junior Years

1979 started riding at La Jolla Farms, La Jolla, California

1980 began training under Hap Hansen Stables, Rancho Santa Fe, California

1981-1988 showed on the “A” circuit competing in 12-20 shows a year (throughout                   California and Arizona); winning Championships, USEF Year End Zone 10 and CPHA Awards,       and Top Ribbons in Year End National Finals with several ponies and horses: Coventry's            Meadow Mouse (medium pony hunter),Hailey’s Comet (large green pony hunter), Effiney’s        Dream (large pony hunter),Sprite (medium green pony hunter), Stone’s Throw Second              Rock (large pony hunter), Footloose (Children’s/ Junior Jumper)




























1988 began training under Claudia Cojocar, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

1988-1990 showed on the “A” circuit competing throughout Western and Midwest Canada          (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba) and the North West United                States (Washington, Oregon, and Northern California).  Competing Conrad (Junior Hunter/        Open Hunter/ Equitation)—showed extensively at Spruce Meadows, Calgary,                          Alberta—winner of the Spruce Meadows Rising Star Award.
























Graduated La Jolla High School in 1990 as Valedictorian


University Years

1990 began University of Virginia, rode on the Intercollegiate Team

1991 summer rode for Hap Hansen Stables, Rancho Santa Fe, California

1991-1992 started and galloped race horses at Ingleside Farms, Charlottesville, Virginia—         Woodbury Payne














1992-1994 started and rode horses for The Barracks, Charlottesville, Virginia—Claiborne           Bishop

1993-1994 rode for Agnes Clark, Farmington Hunt Whip—Hunted with Farmington Hunt.

1994 Graduated University of Virginia, Bachelor of Arts-Biology


Post University Years

1994-1995 rode at Fairbanks Riding Club, Del Mar, California

1995 galloped race horses at Holly Hill Training Stables, Holly Hill, SC

1996-1997 rode at Rancho El Camino Riding Club, Del Mar, California


Marriage Years

Married Dr. George D. Veasy—Orthopedic Surgeon

1997 moved to Salt Lake City, began training under June Connel , British Dressage Trainer

2000 moved to Aberdeen, North Carolina

2000-2005 trained under top trainers: Maryann Charles, Jim Koford, Nancy Lindroth,               Jules Nyssen, and Mike Plumb

2000-Present bought and sold project horses and young horses, including starting horses            Fox Hunting

2002 campaigned Tom Collins as a 5 year old (purchased as a 2 year old—started and                trained) in Dressage—

2002 Winner BLM Finals — Training Level
2002 Winner Southeast Dressage Finals—Training Level
2002 6th Place ABIC Region 3 Championships —  Training Level
2002 8th Place ABIC Region 3 Championships — First Level
Over 20 First Place Finishes in 2002
Scores Consistently in the upper 60’s and 70’s
Average scores over 65% in the FEI for 5-year olds















2002 began Fox Hunting with Moore County Hounds—riding for Hurry Back FarmsMarty        O’Rourke

2003-2004 rode for Ashemont Farms—Pat and Joe Belskie. Training and Showing Stallions         AB Welt Marke, and AB Phoenix in Dressage and Hunters/Jumpers.  Also showing,                  training and handling AB Rhapsody.












2003-Present CDE Navigator for several Driving Ponies—Jen Ozley, Leigh Morgan, Dale             Govus

















2004 rode for Hassinger Farms

2004-2008 rode for Kelly Hoy—Fox Hunting, Training and Showing Sale Horses
