Southern Oaks Farm is a small breeding, training, and boarding facility located in Aberdeen, North Carolina (a few miles from The Carolina Horse Park). Our primary focus is producing quality sport horses in the hunter, jumper, dressage, and fox hunting areas. All our horses are for sale, so please inquire on any that may interest you.

Southern Oaks Farm was purchased in 2000, formally an old Tobacco farm more commonly known by locals as the Pickler farm. Much of the land was cleared fields with rotating crops of rye, soybeans, and tobacco. An old farmstead home and a few old sheds were the only buildings. Since the purchase in 2000 many changes have taken place, first being the restoration of the farm house. Grass, fences, and run-ins were put in and we continue to expand adding new fenced pasture. The first barn and equipment shed were built in 2000-2001 and in 2007 we have added another barn to house more horses and equipment. In 2002 we added the 20 meter round pen and in 2006 we fenced a grass oval ring. We continually strive to make Southern Oaks feel like an old style horse farm.

Located in the Sandhills, Southern Oaks consists of 85 acres and has the following amenities
- 9 stall (12x14) center aisle barn with 2 hot/cold washracks, tackroom, office, laundry/bathroom, and open shedrow.
- 3 stall (12x20) Broodmare barn that can reconfigure to 6 (10x12) stalls
- 6- 1 acre paddocks with 4 run-in sheds and 4 industrial fans
- 2-4 acre pastures with 2- 12x30 run-in sheds and 2 industrial fans
- 20 meter 4 board clay/sand base round pen
